Wonderful

Super helpful friendly staff. Enormous rooms! So accommodating to me and my spaniel. We loved it.

The bathroom although huge and well appointed wasn't sparkling clean especially inside the shower.

Overall happy nice spacious room gent on reception friendly and helpful

Food in restaurant 1st class breakfast good also christine customer service in restaurant was exceptional and breakfast also bar staff scruffy and misserable no customer service skills need re_ training

Poor customer service by bar staff they obviously were not happy in there work no thank you when giving change back or a smile very disappointing

Thoroughly enjoyed and would stay again

We were appointed a ground floor disabled room which I had requested. The room was lovely, very big with a sitting-room separate to the bathroom and bedroom. The room was lovely and warm, and the television had a freeview tv. There was lots of lovely towels and pillows. Lots of hangers provided in the wardrobe. Our grandsons were allowed to swim in the heated swimming pool which is lovely and use the sauna and spa. Towels were provided to them which was lovely . They loved it. We had drinks in the bar which were lovely and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and nice. Even serving us while they cleaned up as there were no other customers. Loved all the Halloween decorations.

Our bathroom had a bath in it which my husband struggled to get into, in order to have a shower. I am sure I could have moved but it was late in the evening when we arrived so we didn't challenge it. There were a lot of wasps in the men's changing rooms so we let our grandsons use our room to shower and change. Reception informed me that they were trying to deal with it.

Overall pleasant, however reception need to work on their customer service skills

The Artisan Restaurant is lovey, breakfast was ok however the tables are too close together. Plenty of choice on the buffet but didn't appear to be choices of eggs etc.

The reception staff couldn't be bothered. One lady walk straight past and the other didn't tell us about he facilities, breakfast etc, very poor greeting

This was perfect for a short break - very comfortable, lovely swimming pool and feed breakfast!

Large car park, comfortable and spacious room, pet friendly, swimming pool and sauna etc.

It was getting a bit dated - perhaps needing a little cosmetic attention.

Reasonably comfortable but hotel needs updating.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room needs updating, shower could have been more powerful and bathroom needed a refurb. Access to the annex and room was difficult as required many attempts to unlock with card key. There was no bottled water in the room.

The hotel is superb. Helpful staff and excellently located.

I liked the bar, restaurant, the massive bedroom, tea and coffee provided. Lovely hot water in the bathroom, deep bath. Fluffy towels, beautifully tended gardens.

I'd booked the hotel as it had a swimming pool. We were only able to swim for a sort while, uncomfortably, due to swimming lessons being given to children all the time we were there, even on Saturday morning. This was a massive disappointment and I wouldn't have booked the hotel if I'd known. This is a big issue for us and we're unlikely to book again because of it.

Stayed there to attend a wedding nearby

The hotel was beautiful , clean and the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful than they were. Used the pool, sauna and Steam room. Overall a lovely place to stay

Amazing place

The rooms were amazing as they had a separate room with table and sofas away from bedroom, the bathrooms are amazing and large plus a balcony overlooking the garden The hotel is quite large and spacious and lovely bar and restaurant area with excellent food and breakfast, highly recommended we will be returning

Friendly staff but tired and outdated property which is expensive for what you get

Staff were nice enough and helpful when we told them the heating wasn’t working in our room.

Images on the website and ratings don’t adequately reflect the standard of the property. The rooms are very tired and outdated. Upon arrival we discovered the heating wasn’t working in the room - this should have been checked prior to us entering the room.

A wonderful place to stay and relax, I'll definitely be going back.

The pleasant staff were very attentive and friendly. The pizza in the restaurant was amazing and I'd highly recommend eating there. The room was a great size and had everything I needed, it was peaceful and comfortable.

My room smelt of strong paint fumes, but the staff relocated me without any issue and were very accommodating. Really impressed with how they handled it!

We had a balcony suit and it was lovely a tad dated but excellent value for money, worth every penny and more a lovely suit, comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space and like the en suite had bath and shower cubicle and toilet door could be shut to make the bathroom still accessable. Really pleased, would recommend and definitely stay again for sure.
